Rosemary Variety for Hedging Answered by: Conrad Richter Question from: Conrad Richter Posted on: February 1, 2001
My wife and I would like to grow our own rosemary hedge. There is a very old well established hedge at the University of Washington, which is about 75 miles north of us. So we know it’ll work. The question is: which variety would be best suited?
The ‘Rex’ cultivar is excellent for hedging. It has a robust upright habit with lush foliage.
