Soil for Culinary Herbs: Acid or Alkiline? Answered by: Inge Poot Question from: Karen Gale Posted on: May 10, 2007
Should culinary herbs be in acidic or alkaline soil?
Most culinary herbs do well with soil just around neutral -- anywhere from pH 6.0 to 7.5. It’s some of the medicinal herbs that have more specific acidic or alkaline soil requirements.
