Jojoba Seed Extraction Left-Over

I am interested in planting the Jojoba to extract the oil from the seeds. If I order the seeds do I get the male and female plants? I saw that you have to have both.
You cannot tell the sex of the eventual plant from the seed or immature seedlings. You will get about 50% of each sex when you plant the seeds and after each plant first flowers you can then select to have more females than males in your final planting. The male flowers occur in clusters and the female flowers occur singly.
Is there anything I can do with the mulch that is left over after the seed has been extracted?
Use it to mulch your plants to conserve moisture and reduce temperature fluctuations in the soil. Or compost the mulch and then use the resulting humus to augment the soil.
