Coptis groenlandica Answered by: Susan Eagles Question from: Marijo Labelle Posted on: November 5, 1998
Bonjour! We do use successfully the herb "Coptis groenlandica" or "savoyane" as we call it in french, for different types of infections, mostly for throat sores and catarrh conditions. I am wondering what side effects this plant can provoke as there is very little information is available on it. We always use it for short periods of time: max. 3 days in a row, as we think it is similar to "Hydrastis canadensis" a very potent root.
I haven’t been able to find any side effect for on this one - only its Native American uses.
