Herbs for Energy

I just started taking herbs, and would like to find one for energy. Do you have any suggestions?

The most famous herb that is supposed to fight fatigue is ginseng. There is of course coffee and better yet, black and green tea. The coffee and tea work best if you only use them when you need them – intermittently. Otherwise your body gets used to them and no longer reacts as strongly.

Other strengthening herbs are: ashwagandha, bai zhu, codonopsis, ephedra, possibly maralroot, possibly reishi mushroom, roseroot, possibly white yarrow and yerba mate.
