Sexual Libido and Breast Cancer

My first question is about sexual dysfunction. I have a partner who is on a anti-depressant and he has the usual side effects - difficulty in maintaining erection and difficulty in achieving orgasm. Are there any herbs that can help with this?

The second is unrelated - my friend just found out she has massive breast cancer. She is 65 and is choosing not to do chemo. Will echincea help her immune system fight longer? Are there other herbs that will help with breast cancer or even with the pain? Will these herbs have any interaction risks?

We have answered questions regarding improvement of sexual libido previously. Please go to our website at http://www.richters.com, choose "Q&A" from the main menu, then choose "Search Richters Q&A", and enter the word "libido" for the search.

There are also entries on this website that will give you information on cancer. Enter the word "cancer" for the search. In particular, the item "Flax Seed for Breast Cancer Prevention" notes the use of flax for breast cancer inhibition, and recommends Susun Weed’s book "Breast Cancer? Breast Health!" (Ash Tree Publishing). Weed’s book lists anti-cancer foods, herbs and lifestyle, and gives a through analysis of the various treatment options. Weed’s information is backed by both experience and research results. I highly recommend it.
