Citrus aurantium for Weight Loss? Answered by: Susan Eagles Question from: Name not given Posted on: May 14, 2003
Hi, my name is Kelly. I just received a packet about the herb Citrus aurantium, which is a patch to help you lose weight. I wanted to know if you had any advice or input about this herb.
Citrus aurantium is known as "bitter orange" or sometimes "sour orange". It is usually the peel that is used medicinally, often in the form of an essential oil. It has digestive, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties.
I don’t know of any reason why this would help with weight loss. Please carefully research any such claims before spending money on it.
