Plantar Fasciitis

I have had plantar fasciitus in my right foot for two years. The pain still fluctuates and on some days I find I am still limping. I have had new orthotics, two sets of cortizone shots, many sessions of physio, craniosacral therapy and massage therapy and also trials of various anti inflammatory prescribed by the doctor. Do you have any suggestions for herbs or other treatment that may speed the healing?

I am frustrated and also worried there may be some other underlying cause of this slow to heal problem, as I also have aching muscles in my back, stiff neck, and often feel sluggish and tired.

Any suggestion would be helpful.

We have described additional suggestions on previous questions about plantar faciitis. Please go to our web page at www.richters.com. Choose "Q&A" from the main menu, and enter "plantar" for the search. The supplements noted in the item "Plantar Fascia Problem", a greens supplements and "Bone, Flesh and Cartilage" herbal formula, often work where other methods have failed. The cleansing action provided by the greens supplement helps to clear toxins that may be causing your described back and neck aches and fatigue.
