I have been hearing great things about the Noni syrup and its healing effects. My husband and I are dealing with several things and wonder if the Noni syrup will help us. We are dealing with high blood pressure, diabetes, kidney disease (he is on dialysis) and morbid obesity (that is me). I need more info on this miracle I have been hearing about.

There are studies that show the effectiveness of noni in improving the immune system, and there are reports of its effectiveness in diabetes and high blood pressure. In diabetes, I caution the use of noni "syrup". Check the sugar level of the product that you are interested in.

I do not believe that any product is a cure-all. I believe that your best route is to consult a medical herbalist or a naturopath who will take a complete case history and work with you to correct health imbalances, allowing for healing to take place. There are many aspects to health problems, and although noni may help in some way, health improvement is only effective when the underlying causes of health problems are taken into consideration.

For more information about noni, please see our web site at http://www.richters.com. Choose "Q&A" from the main menu, then enter "noni" for the search.
