I have had evening leg pains for many years and my knees tighten if I sit for at least 10 minutes. I was given a bottle of evening primrose oil from a friend, stating it will help. The bottle does not state for what usage.

I was also told to try using Folic Acid??

I’m 63 years of age and an active gardener so I do alot of bending. Do you think the Primrose will help?

Evening primrose oil is beneficial for blood flow and for the nervous system. It can improve blood flow to your leg by strengthening the blood vessels and by discouraging blood thickening. It is helpful in pain management by its action on inflammatory prostaglandins. Its effect on the peripheral nervous system can also be beneficial for leg pains.

Folic acid is necessary for nervous system function and for healthy blood. It helps in the metabolism of proteins and supports the liver and the digestive system.
