Recently my husband visited a health store in Mexico and brought home Nopalinaza Plus this package contains Linseed , Nopal , Senna Leaf , Sacred Bark.

My question is do you happen to know something about these ingredients?

Linseed is flax seed, which is useful in digestive and respiratory tract disturbances, and in constipation. Senna leaf is a laxative. Nopal is the prickly pear cactus whose pad (leaf) is used to alleviate high blood pressure, bladder problems and fever, and to balance blood pressure in adult onset diabetes. We call Sacred Bark "Cascara Sagrada", which is a laxative. This combination of cascara and senna may act as a strong laxative, and should only be used in chronic constipation. It may cause griping, dehydration and low potassium levels if used continuously or in high doses.
