What can I do herbal for ear mites in a neighbor’s cat? They don’t seem to care but the cat is so cute and hangs around my house and yard and plays with my cat who is healthy.

Hopefully, as your cat is healthy, the mites will not be interested and will stay away. However, dealing with a cat that does not live with you can be tricky. The bottom line of course is general good health. This is best achieved by feeding an animal a balanced homemade diet, several types of which are found in books such as Richard Pitcairn’s, "Natural Health for Dogs and Cats", "The Complete Herbal Handbook for the Dog and Cat" by Juliette de Bairacli Levy and "The Barf Diet" by Ian Billinghurst. Second, a topical treatm, ent may be helpful in conjunction with the diet change stated above. Please see this website (www.richters.com) for the posting entitiled, "Dog and Ear Mites" for further information.
