I want to know if garlic is best at fighting bacterial and viral infections instead of having to take antibiotics especially for sinusitis.

Please see previous answers to questions about sinusitis on our website www.richters.com . Choose Q&A from the main page, then enter "sinusitis" for the search. Garlic is a good antibacterial herb, but it is important that the environment that hosts the bacteria is improved to deter recurrences: good elimination to get rid of the bacteria, good digestion, absorption and diet to optimize nutrient intake and use by the body and reduction of excess mucus. A natural approach, although slower acting, is preferable to a drug approach, because the cause of the problem is eliminated, whereas the drug approach often invites further problems by eliminating good digestive bacteria.
