Urinary Tract Infection - Cured Using Oil of Oregano

I have been plagued by urinary tract infections for years, than my sister gave me oil of oreganum for my sore throat one day. At the same time I had a really painful urinary tract infection. A day later [I] still had a sore throat but my urinary tract infection had diminished by half. I kept taking the oil of oreganum for 5 days. My urinary tract infection disappeared. This was two years ago, every time I feel a recurrence (mild burning when urinating) I take oil of oreganum for a day and it worked.

Please pass this on, it really is wonderful to find something that works better than commercial antibiotics (I have taken all kinds and at large doses). Cranberry juice and other remedies never came close to what the oil of oreganum has done for me.

Good to hear! Yes, oil of oreganum does have strong anti-bacterial and anti-microbial properties and when used properly can be a very effective medicine. I am pleased to hear that you only take this remedy during times of need rather than prophylacticly. As it is a very concentrated form of the herb oregano, it can be very hard on the digestive system if used for long periods. Thank you for sharing your experience.
