Please tell me what you know about charcoal. We are using coconut shells charcoal and it is healing up all types of cancer (internal/ external). I would like to know your professional opinion on this traditional medicine.

Charcoal is not something that I use in my practice so I can not give a professional opinion based on experience. But what I do know is that charcoal is used in hospitals to absorb poisons and other harmful substances ingested. However, regarding your inquiry, most cancers are not sitting in the digestive tract where the charcoal can conveniently pass by and pick it up thus removing the cancer from the body. But what it can do is absorb toxins that can lead to cancer in the body. The concern of course though is that if taken too frequently it can absorb and thus eliminate from the body good substances that also help to fight cancer and are health promoting or even necessary for health. So, my opinion would be that as with most things, there is a time and place for many things and charcoal on a daily basis would not be recommended.
