I am writing to inquiry whether you have seeds for the following Italian vegetable:

cicoria a radici

If you, would you kindly provide me with order information, as I would like to purchase several packets of seeds. Thank you for your time.

This is dandelion according to Fernanda Caligiuri of our retail shop staff. Likely it refers to the improved version known in the Richters catalogue as ‘French dandelion’; it is grown throughout Europe. It has been improved over the wild version in several ways: lusher, more tender leaves, bigger roots, easier to grow from seeds.
